Janio Joins the Millennial Chapter of the Indonesian Logistic Association (ALI)

Jakarta, October 1, 2019 – The first of October saw the inauguration of the “Millennial Chapter” of the Indonesia Logistics Association (ALI), a forum that seeks to build the future of Indonesia’s technological ecosystem to support the logistics and supply chain industry. The forum facilitated collaboration amongst the stakeholders in the ecosystem, encouraging industrial progress and economic strengthening.

COO and co-founder of Janio, Syed Ali Ridha Madihid speaking at “the Future of Indonesia’s Logistics: How Technology Changes the Logistics Industry”

As part of the forum, a seminar on “the Future of Indonesia’s Logistics: How Technology Changes the Logistics Industry” was held at UnionSpace, Satrio Tower Jakarta. Opened by Chairman of ALI, Mr Zaldy Masita, the event was attended by over 200 participants. Our COO and co-founder, Syed Ali Ridha Madihid, spoke on a panel together with tech industry peers Ritase, Haistar and Helpster, discussing the opportunities in the digital transformation of cross-border logistics. The panelists spoke about how Indonesia’s logistics landscape is evolving, moving away from established conventional means to digitalization. Ali spoke about how technology streamlines the process from first mile to last mile, providing solutions for shippers and improving worker’s performance. In particular, Janio’s modular technology solution allows businesses of all sizes to scale across the region.

As we come towards the end of 2019, we are proud to be working together with ALI, and we are glad to have met new partners and industry players through the Millennial Chapter. We look forward to working together to develop the industry and advance the ecosystem through technology.
