Syed Faisal has over a decade of logistics and warehousing experience over multiple industries like automotive, oil & gas and eCommerce. Recent roles he held were in Zalora and Pos Aviation, a subsidiary of Pos Malaysia. In Pos Aviation, he pioneered the setup of the first Digital Free Trade Zone (DFTZ) Fulfilment Center in Malaysia and was able to work with the Cargo Terminal and the Malaysian Digital Economic Corporation to reduce customs clearance and terminal handling to achieve the service level required by customers. Other roles include Quality Management Systems, Lean Manufacturing Implementation, and management of the Engineering Bill of Materials.
Alex is currently Janio’s General Manager for the Greater China market. Prior to joining Janio, he served as the Senior Account Manager at TNT, and the Senior Business Development Manager at S.F. Express Co. Ltd where he was in charge of the management and development of the portfolios of global, regional and national key customers.
Cliff is currently the Head of Operations at Janio, focusing on operations and key cross-functional projects. Prior to joining Janio, Cliff was the COO at blu, a Singapore-based start-up providing end to end logistics solutions for retailers. Before venturing into the start-up space, Cliff was at JP Morgan specialising in capital advisory for clients in SEA.
George was brought on to manage the B2B business at Janio. This comprises of furthering our already strong Air offering while building out our new Sea and Land capabilities across Janio’s ASEAN and wider global network. Prior to Janio George was CBO of Kargo, the first technology-enabled full-service trucking fleet in Myanmar. As CBO George was in charge of driver and customer acquisition, successfully building a fleet of 2,800 fully trackable trucks and winning long term contracts with MNC’s which included Coca Cola, Addidas, Mitsubishi, Nestle and K+N. Before this, George co-founded the first EU focused rice exporter in Myanmar trading at the peak of 2,500 tons per month, and in an earlier life worked as a financial technology consultant in London.
