Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak began, front liners have spared no effort or resources to combat the pandemic’s impact in Malaysia. RumahKita, a response movement for COVID-19 created by a coalition of Malaysian NGOs and individuals, has been hard at work ensuring that frontline staff in hospitals, government agencies, and at police stations have the essential medical supplies needed to continue the fight against the virus.
Supported by the Malaysia Health Coalition, a network of 36 professional societies in medicine and health representing doctors, specialists, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists and allied health professionals including Schools of Medicine as well as senior health professionals, the movement seeks to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) such as N95 and medical masks, protective gowns, face shields and thermoscans to hospitals throughout Malaysia. Alongside PPE makers, NGOs, corporate donors and fellow logistics industry partners, Janio is proud to be a part of the coalition in supporting our front liners by helping to ship crucial PPE.
To join in and support the efforts of the coalition, please feel free to donate at the main donation page. Every bit of help goes a long way!
