Janio’s Chief Operating Officer, Syed Ali Ridha Madihid was featured in the first of Lian He Zao Bao’s ‘Business in ASEAN’ series, which was also translated and republished by SGSME.
In the article, Ali highlights Indonesia’s potential as a market and also explains why he decided to focus on Indonesia first for Janio’s operations.
He mentions: “Indonesia is the largest market in ASEAN, so naturally it attracts our interest. More importantly, Indonesia not only has great business potential, but it is an archipelago spanning more than 17,000 islands, with many challenges such as high logistics costs and complex cross-border delivery. If we could overcome Indonesia, it would give us the confidence to venture into other markets.”
