In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, Janio has been closely monitoring the situation and continuously adapting our business operations to keep our client’s supply chains moving. The safety and welfare of our people is of utmost importance to us, while also being paramount to keeping our client’s supply chains working through these trying times.
As part of our business continuity plan, we have been staying up-to-date with the latest guidelines by relevant government organisations and are implementing measures to keep our employees healthy and safe. Our business continuity plan includes various measures to minimise the risk of infection across our entire company. Our primary measures include the following:
Our employees in our Singapore office will be split into separate teams of employees who will be deployed at different work schedules. In this case, each department will be split equally into Team A and Team B with each team taking turns to work from home.
All employees in our regional offices will be adopting work from home arrangements. We are constantly monitoring updates from local government agencies and will make necessary changes to manage the situation accordingly.
Shift work arrangement and additional measures will be implemented to ensure business continuity and minimise risk of infections. You can find our precautionary measures for ground operations employees below:

To minimise in-person face-to-face interactions, all internal meetingswill be conducted via video conferencing, unless face to face interview is absolutely necessary. External meetings that don’t necessarily need to be conducted face to face will be conducted virtually as well.
All non-essential work related travel will be deferred until further notice.
Janio will continuously monitor the situation and adjust our business continuity plan as necessary. We’ll work to ensure that our measures in place are compliant with the regulations and follow the respective official health advisories in the countries where we operate to contain the spread of COVID-19.
