Janio Named Country Star of Alibaba Cloud x KrAsia Global Startup Accelerator’s Malaysia Demo Day

Janio was named the Country Star of Alibaba and KrAsia’s Malaysia Demo Day which took place on September 10th September.

The Malaysia Demo Day is part of the Alibaba Cloud x KrAsia Global Startup Accelerator, which itself is part of Alibaba Cloud’s Project AsiaForward Initiative. The Malaysia Demo Day’s goal is focused on reaching startups operating in Malaysia and supporting the local ecosystem in the countries that Alibaba operates in.

During the Malaysia Demo Day, Janio was among ten startup finalists who pitched to a panel of judges from Vision Plus Capital, Atara Ventures, Telkomsel Mitra Inovasi, and Alibaba Cloud on September 10. Janio’s pitch covered our range of end-to-end shipping solutions and our scalability throughout Southeast Asia.

Janio’s Group Head of Commercial, Senthil Kumar, shared that Janio is excited to develop a closer working relationship with Alibaba Cloud: “It was a privilege to have been able to take part in the pitch alongside other promising startups, and an honor to be named the winner. We believe this is a strong validation of our business proposition to our customers, and we look forward to working closely with Alibaba in the future to better serve the e-commerce ecosystem,” he said.
