Head of Digital Marketing

Janio Asia is looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to join our regional Marketing team.

Our marketing team are exposed to multiple aspects of setting up a business in a fast-paced startup environment. We invite candidates with an entrepreneurial and motivated mindset, as well as a keen interest in combining logistics with new technologies, to apply.

About the role

As Head of Digital Marketing you will build and lead a team of integrated marketing specialists, responsible for programs that deliver against a digital strategy of your design. You have a track record that’s based on data and numbers, with experience building this practice from the ground up. You demonstrate the ability to operate on both a strategic level as well as execution, setting and exceeding pipeline contribution and influenced goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Digital and Social Media Marketing

  • Building the company’s online presence
  • Developing the company website as a tool for growth
  • Developing a digital strategy and executing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement and lead generation across all relevant channels through:
  • Optimizing web pages, content and copy for search engine visibility and conversion
  • Content activation across non-paid channels for effective reach and conversion
  • Planning, executing and optimizing paid marketing campaigns across platforms
  • Cross-functional Leadership and Partner Management
    • Developing relationships with current and potential partner channels for co-marketing efforts
    • Planning and executing of co-marketing efforts with partner organizations,
      including co-creation of content and syndication
    • Reporting and managing performance across all channels
    • Become a key stakeholder across digital efforts for marketing and creative teams and with cross-functional stakeholders
    • Work closely with the sales team in contributing to revenue growth targets and
      attributing results to marketing efforts
    • Build, manage and lead a team of digital growth marketers
    • Develop SOPs for efficient marketing operations and manage digital marketing budgetPR and Partner Marketing
  • Plan and execute joint digital marketing activities such as publishing content and promotion of marketing initiatives
  • Develop, implement and manage a public relations strategy to create a strong,
    favourable company and employer brand
  • Draft and pitch stories to media, government and industry partners
  • Build and manage strong external stakeholder relations through existing and new networks

The requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
  • At least 5 years of B2B and digital marketing experience in a technology-based company or emerging markets within APAC
  • Hands on experience in any or a combination of: content marketing, SEO, paid digital, product marketing, partnership marketing, conversion rate optimization, digital
    marketing strategy
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field
  • Strong communication, influencing, facilitation and presentation skills to communicate and engage with all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning – ability to operationalize and execute business goals
  • Project management experience in a related field – dynamic, hyper-growth environment (e.g. talent management, consulting, SaaS/technology environment) a plus
  • Can work and learn independently as well as speak and write English fluently. Secondary Asian language a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in building, coaching and leading diverse, high-performing teams
