The role

Janio is experiencing hyper-growth in all aspects and we are looking for a leader to be hands-on with pricing and cost management and build a centralized database across all regional partners.

Global Pricing Manager will drive the pricing initiatives and processes for Janio’s businesses across all regions and countries. The role will constantly review our market positions, including price and competitor’s rate movements, in each operating country and align pricing strategies to increase potential yield growth.

The role will also be responsible for creating pricing models and processes for the commercial team to provide competitive pricing strategies that meet the client’s requirements. Global Pricing Manager will also analyze clients’ acceptance rates to provide sound adjustment plans to ensure that Janio stays competitive in the market.

This role will report to the Head of Business Intelligence and work closely with other relevant teams to deliver an in-depth analysis of customer behavior, revenue growth, and competitors’ movement.

The requirements

  • At-least 5 years of experience in global pricing management in the supply chain industry, with at least 2 years of experience in managerial position.
  • Excellent logical reasoning skills and deep understanding of pricing modeling in logistics
  • Demonstrated ability in working closely with Enterprise customers and collaborating with stakeholders like business and operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Bonus points for candidates who led teams at the time of crises and lead them by setting examples.
  • Experience in building data dashboards using tools like Metabase/Tableau etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ownership and high accountability to successful project delivery
  • Bonus for candidates with experience in working with cross-border functions and managing FX exposures
