The role


  • Identify high-potential businesses, verticals, and markets, and develop and execute outbound strategies to bring them to Janio
  • Develop and lead outbound campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified calls and emails
  • Launch and test new outbound lead generation channels and determine how best to scale them
  • Execute the full sales cycle from prospecting to building relationships with the right potential clients to closing deals and guide them through product implementation
  • Develop and codify best practices and sales workflows for scaled and bespoke interactions with prospects
  • Work with cross-functional teams like Marketing and Product to develop new content

The requirements

Minimum Qualification:

Janio Asia is looking for a Sales & Marketing Associate to join our rapidly expanding Sales & Business Development team. We like people who are customer-centric, independent, and demonstrate strong entrepreneurial vigor. The individual should also possess a flair for analytical thinking, building relationships with our users and strong business acumen with a tenacity to solve difficult problems. You will work closely with Sales and Business Development team to deliver outstanding service to our partners and clients. As part of a lean and dynamic team tackling one of the biggest problems in the region, you will have exposure across multiple industry verticals while having a direct impact on the success of the company.

This position reports directly to the Regional Business Development Manager. We offer candidates opportunities to develop and grow professionally as valued team members in a dynamic and often cross-functional startup environment.

Qualifications preferred would be:
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably at a logistics/ eCommerce/ technology company, with a track record of top performance
  • Ability to understand the Janio’s services and build great relationships with users and partners
  • Experience with project management across multiple stakeholders
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Highly create and ambitious with a strong passion for acquiring clients
