Prior to Janio, Jun Kai worked in the venture capital and private equity industry where he held investment roles in Partners Group, Gobi Partners (Shanghai) and Venturecraft covering the TMT, Consumer and Healthcare sectors in the US, UK and Asia market. He now leads the company as CEO, driving Janio's strategy development and growth.
Ali has over a decade of management experience in areas of business development, corporate strategy, global supply chain and operations management. He has held senior management roles in Expeditors International, SATS, Reebonz and Zalora. Currently, he serves as the COO, developing Janio's networks and capabilities.
With a background in information systems, Afiq is a seasoned full-stack developer, co-founding several companies since his university days in the Singapore Management University where he was the Ng Kai Wa Scholarship recipient. He spearheads Janio's tech development efforts, leading the tech team in building the company's software platforms.
Before starting Janio, Nathaniel worked in brand consulting, developing branding strategies for local blue chip clients. He has also held regional account management roles in corporate banking at Citibank. He graduated from NUS with a business degree and is now in charge of developing Janio's marketing strategies and capabilities.
Piyush leads the Product Management function at Janio. He is responsible for defining and leading the roadmap for Janio’s technology platform. Prior to Janio, Piyush founded an Education Technology startup which became a leading online platform for professional education in India. Piyush is a graduate from Stanford University and IIT Kanpur where he studied Computer Science. He has published multiple research papers and patents in the areas of machine learning, computer vision and video streaming technologies and has been recognised as one of the Top 8 Innovators Under 35 by MIT Review
Cliff is currently the Chief of Staff at Janio, focusing on operations and key cross-functional projects. Prior to joining Janio, Cliff was the COO at blu, a Singapore-based start-up providing end to end logistics solutions for retailers. Before venturing into the start-up space, Cliff was at JP Morgan specialising in capital advisory for clients in SEA.
Thiery started his career as an auditor before moving to the commercial environment. He has over 15 years of finance experience working in start-ups both in the UK and in Singapore. As well as being a Chartered Accountant, he is a graduate from the University of Warwick and Victoria University in business, computer science, operational research, SAP and ERP systems.
Esther has over a decade of experience in express logistics. She started with a sales management role in DHL Express and moved onto SF Express as the Head of Network Development in the South Asia Region. She was also the Country Manager of InXpress to manage the franchising business in HK, before she became Janio’s General Manager in Greater China.
Gelo currently manages the Special Projects team at Janio, taking lead in the scoping, assessment, and implementation of all of Janio’s Value Added Service offerings. Prior to Janio, Gelo was Regional Solution Design Manager at aCommerce, an end-to-end eCommerce solutions provider in Southeast Asia, where he was tasked with assessing the feasibility, practicality, and profitability of key projects and initiatives in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. He also has prior experience in the early days of Zalora and Rocket Internet, heavily involved and on the ground during the pioneer years of eCommerce in Southeast Asia.
Alex is currently Janio’s Assistant Vice President of Commercial Development. Prior to joining Janio, he served as the Senior Account Manager at TNT, and the Senior Business Development Manager at S.F. Express Co. Ltd where he was in charge of the management and development of the portfolios of global, regional and national key customers.
